Queensryche Members to Carry on Without Geoff Tate -
Tensions inside of camp Queensrÿche reportedly boiled over last
month after vocalist Geoff Tate allegedly pulled a knife on his
bandmates backstage at a concert in Sao Paulo, according to
Brazilian website Collector's Room.
Now it seems the band's core members (Michael Wilton, Eddie
Jackson, Scott Rockenfield) have ejected Tate and plan to proceed
without him under the new name of Rising West.
However, the band will perform two shows with Crimson Glory singer
Todd La Torre at the Hard Rock Cafe in their hometown of Seattle.
The dates will act as warm up shows for a possible new album and
tour with La Torre at the helm, reports MetalTalk.
