Monkees Announce US Tour -

The Monkees have announced their first live show since the death of Davy Jones in February.

The remaining members of the pop-icons, Michael Nesmith, Mickey Donlenz and Peter Tork have revealed that the group will launch a 12-date U.S tour in November. The tour is set to kick off in Escondido, California on Nov.8 and will finish up in New York on Dec.2.

The Monkees will play a varied selection of their biggest hits from their first five albums plus music from their film, 'Head' as well as their TV series. The tour will also be accompanied by a multimedia showcase which will 'highlight' Jones and will feature rare films and photographs.
