Rolling Stones to Release 'Crossfire Hurricane' Film
A new Rolling Stones documentary entitled,
'Crossfire Hurricane' will be released
this October in select cinemas with an expected general release in
November, reports NME.
The film takes its name from the opening lines of 'Jumping
Jack Flash,' and will span the band's earliest years through
to the present.
Director Brett Morgan has described the film as "an aural
and visual rollercoaster ride".
"'Crossfire Hurricane' invites the audience to
experience firsthand the Stones' nearly mythical journey from
outsiders to rock and roll royalty. This is not an academic history
lesson. Crossfire Hurricane allows the viewer to experience the
Stones' journey from a unique vantage point. It's an aural and
visual rollercoaster ride."
Along with exclusive, never before seen footage,
'Crossfire Hurricane' will also feature
commentary from Mick Jagger, Keith
Richards, Charlie Watts, Ronnie
Wood as well as former members Bill Wyman
and Mick Taylor.
