Nationally Renowned Players Step Up To Help Local Charity

Nationally Renowned Players Step Up To Help Local Charity -

Leeds and Bradford based guitar tutor Jonathan Vipond has announced a very special event in aid of music charity Clothcat in the form of an all star master class at PMT music in Leeds. The event hopes to raise £500 or more, which will be used to provide the charity with funding for a 10 week youth music project, instruments or other equipment.

The event will feature master classes from renowned guitarists and educators John Wheatcroft, Jim Clarke and Guitar Interactive's Tom Quayle. John and Jim are both regular contributors to Guitarist and Guitar techniques magazines and Tom is fast becoming one of the UK's most sought after jazz fusion specialists.

"These events have always been fun to run" says organiser Jonathan Vipond, "but with this one we hope to do so much more than give people a great evening of education. Clothcat has been a major force in the area for helping people to not only discover music but to show them how they can benefit from being involved in the larger music community. I hope that by organising this event for them we can not only raise awareness of what they do but also help by providing funding for their great work."

The event will be held on Monday 15th of October from 19:30 till late at PMT music in Leeds. For more information and for tickets please visit www.jonathanvipond.co.uk .
