Fleetwood Mac Confirm 2013 Tour Plans

Fleetwood Mac Confirm 2013 Tour Plans -

Fleetwood Mac have confirmed plans for a worldwide tour set to kick off in 2013. The tour, which will begin next April in the US, will also be accompanied by a new album.

Singer Stevie Nicks tells Rolling Stone:

"It's the perfect time to go back out - 2013 is going to be the year of Fleetwood Mac."

She adds:

"We have two new songs that I cut with Lindsey Buckingham two weeks ago that we might play. We're pretty proud of what we've done. We're looking at it through the eyes of wisdom now, instead of through the eyes of jealousy, resentment and anger."

Long-term guitarist Lindsey Buckingham had suggested that the band tour last year but he later admitted that getting everyone to agree was proving tough.

"If you look at Fleetwood Mac as a group, you can make the case of saying we're a bunch of individuals who don't necessarily belong in the same group together, but it's the synergy of that that makes us so good. But it also makes the politics a little more tenuous," he said. "You can say that not only can it be a political minefield, someone's always causing trouble, right? I caused trouble for years so I can't point any fingers."

At present only the band's American dates have been announced, which you can find below.
