Godin Guitars Launch Limited Edition Acousticaster 40th
The beautiful Godin
Limited Edition Acousticaster 40th Anniversary Koa, is themed
on the original hybrid electro-acoustic guitar that put Canada's
biggest guitar builder on the map some 25 years ago, stunning the
media and guitar players alike, with its ability to blend acoustic
and magnetic sounds.
Whilst celebrating Godin's innovative 40 years in the music
industry, the new Acousticaster has many fine upgrades. Godin's
on-going passion for exotic tonewoods is once again evidential with
the single-bound, twin-chambered mahogany body and solid cedar
soundboard capped with a figured koa top.
Godin guitars are also recognised worldwide by guitarists for
their comfortable neck profiles, again witnessed here in rock maple
with a 22 fret Ergocut fingerboard.
With a compact, small body design, 12" radius neck, 25 ½" scale,
the 40th Anniversary Acousticaster has the feel, playability and
sonics of a superior electric guitar, loaded with a single Godin
GJN1 mini-humbucker specifically voiced for the neck position. To
enhance the natural acoustic timbres, eighteen metal tines are
installed beneath the undersaddle bridge transducer.
Godin's own Custom Pre Amp features a 3 band EQ, individual
treble, mid and bass for the undersaddle bridge pickup and treble
and bass for the neck mini-humbucker, while separate volume
controls for each, allow the ability to blend the two signals.
For the best of both worlds within studio and live performance,
the Acousticaster includes duel outputs: Mix/Acoustic and
Built from premium quality tonewoods, offering superb
playability and exceptional acoustic/electric outputs, the Godin
Limited Edition Acousticaster 40th Anniversary Koa, opens the door
