Yes Add Second Leg to Critically Acclaimed Triple-Header
Concert Tour -
Due to overwhelming demand the iconic and Grammy-winning rock
band Yes have added two new legs of dates to their
triple-header concert tour where they're performing three of their
classic albums in their entirety, all in one concert: 1971's
'The Yes' album, 1972's
'Close To The Edge' and 1977's
'Going For The One' (track listing
for all three albums listed below). The newly added dates
start May 19 with six shows inBrazil and one each inChile
andArgentina. The new North American dates launch July 6 in Paso
Robles, CA and include stops inAnaheim,CA,Las
Vegas,NV,Atlanta,GA,Washington,DC andMontreal, CAN and wrap August
The in-progress tour marks the first time
that Yes bassist Chris
Squire, guitarist Steve Howe, drummer
Alan White, keyboardist Geoff
Downes and singer Jon Davidson have
performed an album onstage in its entirety.
The first leg of the tour launched March 1 in Nevadaand runs
through April 12 in Detroit, with a brief detour March 25-30 for
"The Yes Cruise," which departed from Ft.Lauderdaleand visited
Grand Cayman and Jamaica. Music audiences are relishing the
experience of the three albums--each representing an important
milestone in Yes' career which encompasses sales of close to 50
million albums worldwide--performed from beginning to end.
