Sweet to Perform One-Off London Date for Charity -
Sweet are set to play their first London show in nearly ten years next month when they headline a charity event which will also feature Paddy Goes To Holyhead and Weapon . The hard rocking veterans will perform at Wimbledon’s Merton Manor Club in London prior to their co-headline UK trek with Slade on September 13th. The show is in aid of aneurism victim Ingrid Paasch, friend of Paddy Goes To Holyhead frontman Danny Heynes, who remains paralysed down one side of her body due to the treatment she needs not being available on the NHS. A limited run of special guests passes are available for £25. However, The Merton Manor has a maximum attendance of just 250 people so early booking is well advised.
Sweet and Slade will embark on 23 date UK which begins on October 29th at High Wycombe Swan Theater and wraps up on December 21st at Sailsbury City Hall. Slade and Sweet UK tour
