Faces Reunion ‘earmarked for 2015′ according to Rod Stewart -
Rod Stewart remains hopeful of a full Faces reunion, even predicting the long overdue gathering could happen in 2015.
There has been talk of a reunion for some time with Ronnie Wood reporting that he and frontman, Steward had written new material six years ago. The band last met for a rehearsal in 2009 and in 2010 and 2011 Mick Hucknall fronted the Faces for a number of shows.
However, Rod Stewart now insists a Faces reunion is more likely than ever.
Stewart told WZLX in Boston:
"I think we’ve got much more of a chance of getting the Faces back together, in fact. Ronnie’s office is talking to my people and we’re earmarking 2015.”
This past September the legendary vocalist had said he was hoping for double-header tour featuring Jeff Beck and the Faces, though a falling out between him and Beck laid rest to that idea fairly early on.
