Anniversary Edition of SRV's 'Texas Flood' to be Released -
January 2013 will see the release of the 30th anniversary edition of 'Texas Flood,' the debut release by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble.
The two-CD, which will also include a previously unreleased 1983 concert recording, was influential in kicking off the blues revival of the 1980's and featured SRV classics such as 'Pride and Joy' & 'Lenny.'
The 30th anniversary edition contains the remastered album with bonus track, 'Tin Pan Alley (aka Roughest Place in Town),' and Vaughan's 1983 concert at Ripley's Music Hall in Philadelphia plus liner notes by music historian Ashley Kahn.
