Dinosaur Jr Joined by Johnny Marr in New York -

Indie legend Johnny Marr joined Dinosaur Jr on stage this past weekend (1st December) to cover The Smith's classic 'The Boy With The Thorn In His Side.'

Marr was one of a number of guests to join the grunge pioneers in New York during the 25th anniversary celebrations of their second album, 'You're Living All Over Me.'

In addition to Marr, who will release solo LP 'The Messenger' next February, J.Mascis and co were also joined by Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon and Lee Ranaldo, Pixies head-honcho Frank Black, Brocken Social Scene's Kevin Drew and Kurt Vile.

Dinosaur Jr will be heading to the UK next year for a series of dates in support of new album 'I Bet On Sky,' which was released in September of this year.
