Canadian pedal makers Fairfield circuitry have added another pedal to their ever growing arsenal of wacky and bizarre effects units with the announcement of 'The Unpleasant Suprise'. Launched by Guillaume Fairfield in July 2008 they describe themselves as a no non-sense company that designs killer audio machines. With design ideas ranging from utilitarian studio equipment to innovative concepts to bizarre experimental units.
PRESS RELEASE-- Fairfield Circuitry is proud to present the newest addition to its fast growing collection of robust and unique sound modifiers.
The Unpleasant Surprise offers a distortion palette ranging from seemingly infinite sustain to sputtery farts; from velcro-like, ripping fuzz to ear-wrenching compression. All original and in the spirit of surpassing expectations, this pedal is for musicians who embrace the discomfort of stepping outside the box as an essential tool in creating music.
Says Fairfield Circuitry: "Reminisce about the time you got your shoulder caught in the reciprocating saw while this unit destroys your slick jazz lines."
Interface and features:
The Unpleasant Surprise carries a retail price of $175 and is available through participating dealers, or directly through fairfieldcircuitry.com.
