Iron Maiden to Reissue Seminal Classics with Picture Disc Vinyls - 

Iron Maiden aren't only renowned for their pioneering work in forging the New Wave of British Heavy Metal during the mid 70's to late 80's. They're also known for the gorgeously gruesome & instantly recognisable album artwork they've amassed throughout their illustrious career thanks to Portsmouth based artist, Derek Riggs. 

Now the East London metal elders have announced they will release a limited edition run of vinyl picture disc reissue editions of their most seminal albums such as 'Iron Maiden', 'Killers', 'The Number of the Beast', 'Piece of Mind', 'Powerslave', 'Live After Death', 'Somewhere In Time' and 'Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.'

'Iron Maiden' and 'Killers' will both be released on October 15 with 'The Number Of The Beast' and 'Piece Of Mind' following closely in November. 'Powerslave' and double-disc live album 'Live After Death' will come next year in January 2013 and 'Somewhere In Time' and 'Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son' will follow in February. All will be released via EMI.
