Jimi Hendrix Set For Highest-Charting Album in 44 Years - Seattle guitar legend Jimi Hendrix upcoming archival album is expected to debut at No.2 on next week's Billboard 200 chart. According to industry sources the posthumous album, entitled 'People, Hell and Angels,' could sell 70,000 copies by the end of tracking week on 10th March. The new Billboard 200 chart's top 10 will be revealed tomorrow morning (13th March). If the 12-track album lands at No. 2, it will mark Jimi's highest-charting album since 1968, when 'Electric Ladyland' spent two weeks at No. 1. Each of the previously unreleased tracks on 'People, Hell & Angels' were recorded between 1968 and 1970 and were initially intended for 'First Rays Of The New Rising Sun,' the follow up to 'Electric Ladyland' that Hendrix was working on when he died in 1970.
