Robert Plant returns to the stage next month with his new band playing a low-key warm up show in the UK.
This Is Gloucestershire reports Plant will debut his new outfit, The Sensational Space Shifters, at a May 8 concert at the Gloucester Guildhall in Gloucester, England.
Titled Robert Plant Presents Sensational Space Shifters', this will be his first gig with his new band ahead of a busy summer festival schedule.
Guildhall spokesman Joe Schiavon said they were excited about the gig. "It gives me great pleasure to announce Led Zeppelin frontman and award-winning solo artist Robert Plant will be performing an exclusive low-key warm-up show at Gloucester Guildhall next month"
He added: "This is obviously a massive show for us, and we can't wait to host it."
Tickets are £35 and go on sale this Friday at 10am, but are limited to a maximum of four tickets per person.
Since Zeppelin drummer John Bonham's death in 1980, the enigmatic singer has recorded many solo albums and collaborated with a wide variety of accomplices. The BBC filmed Plant in 2010 for the documentary 'Robert Plant - By Myself'. You can watch it below
