Rush Album '2112' to Receive Super Deluxe Treatment - Three separate reissues of Rush's 1976 album '2112' have been announced with Amazon listing an 18th December release date for all three editions, reports Ultimate Classic Rock.
The news follows Mercury Records announcement regarding a 'Super Deluxe' edition of the Rush concept album, which features an eponymous seven-part suite written by Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson and lyrics telling a dystopian story set in the year 2112 which were penned by Neil Peart. As mentioned there are three separate versions currently listed at Amazon, with little to distinguish them. In addition to the CD plus audio DVD deluxe edition, fans can get a CD with audio BluRay deluxe version or CD plus audio BluRay super deluxe.
