TC Electronic announces 'Blink And You'll Miss It' TonePrint Shredder Campaign -
TC Electronic has announced the next step in their TonePrint program via the release of a package of TonePrints created by TonePrints shred powerhouses Paul Gilbert, John Petrucci, Steve Morse, Doug Aldrich and John 5. These TonePrints are available free of charge via TC's website or the free TonePrint app for iOS and Android.
To celebrate all things shred, TC Electronic will host a giveaway from September 11th through October 1st on their FaceBook page. Up for grabs are a Dreamscape pedal signed by John Petrucci plus a Hall Of Fame Reverb and a Flashback delay signed by Steve Morse.
John 5 makes his debut on this TonePrint lineup presenting a nice and pristine clean chorus aptly called 'Clean Chorus' and a hauntingly, eerie sound called 'Warble Chorus'.
Paul Gilbert brings the sweet lush tones of his Triple Caramel Apple chorus TonePrint and the rich spacyness of his Otis Fieldsgood Reverb TonePrint.
Steve Morse brings his own unique Delay TonePrint, which perfectly replicates the sound Steve uses live and in the studio. Also included in this package is Steve's Reverb TonePrint that's aimed at big open sounds and a Spring Reverb TonePrint.
John Petrucci brings a crunch Vibrato for the Shaker Vibrato pedal, a clean Chorus and a crunch Chorus for Corona Chorus or his signature Dreamscape pedal and a very cool Flanger TonePrint.
Rounding out the shredder package is Doug Aldrich, who contributes with a great sounding Delay TonePrint and a fast Vibrato TonePrint.
Tore Mogensen, Product Manager for Guitar at TC Electronic comments: "This is kind of a personal thing for me, as my first inspiration was all the shreddy guys. And even though I love all guitar music, shred has a special place in my heart. That said, I know that these TonePrints will appeal to all guitarists. They are utterly musical and very usable, also outside of a shred context," he adds, laughing. "But don't be afraid to pick a TonePrint, break out the metronome and blast out some 16th triplets if that's what you feel like!"
